Uber is now in the New Orleans area and it is simple to get started. The first thing you need to do is install the app on your phone.  Once installed, you will set up your credit or debit card information so that when you start using Uber, there will be no exchange of money because it will be automatically charged to your account including the tip. Then when you are ready to use Uber for a ride, simply tap the button that says Request, and to know the price for the ride, tap Fare Estimate. After that is completed, you will enter the location’s address and see the driver’s picture, car make and model and the license plate number so that you will be assured that you are getting into the correct vehicle. You also get the route he/she will take and the ETA will be displayed. You can split the fare if you are riding with someone who has an Uber account by tapping Split Fare. For additional information and details, please check out their website at: https://www.uber.com/ride/.
