To experience a great gathering place where you can enjoy some live music while sampling dishes from local chefs, check out the Covington Farmers’ Market. The Market is open every Wednesday and Saturday. On Saturdays, you will hear local musicians and tastings from local chefs; on Wednesdays, there is an acoustic music jam. The music is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development. The Market offers excellent locally grown fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meat and seafood.
