To experience a great gathering place where you can enjoy some live music while sampling dishes from local chefs, check out the Covington Farmers’ Market. The Market is open every Wednesday and Saturday. On Saturdays, you will hear local musicians and tastings from local chefs; on Wednesdays, there is an acoustic music jam. The music is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development. The Market offers excellent locally grown fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meat and seafood. For more information on what is available, please see: The Saturday Farmers Market is in Covington City Hall at 609 Columbia Street and is open from 8 AM till 12 PM. Wednesday Farmers Market is at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire.
