Do You Want To Live On A Parade Route

Bucket list item maybe? Well, I for one, would love to live on a parade route! My first choice would definitely be THE Avenue, St Charles Avenue to be exact. The dream of hosting family and friends for the Greatest Free Show on Earth from the porch of a Victorian mansion comes alive at Mardi Gras! As I sit on the tree lined avenue waiting for the royalty to pass, one can't help but imagine themselves on the balcony of one of these historic beauties!

Second choice. That's easy. Orleans Avenue where the famed Krewe of Endymion has paraded since 1975. Art deco style homes in the Mid City area, along with the California style bungalows on Orleans always leave you wanting more. More of the excitement. More of the lovely architecture. Just more of this great city.

I think if I lived on a parade route, I'd never move.

Thinking of moving on a parade route? Call me! I know the best spots!
