The Dryades Public Market, whose mission is to provide fresh, high-quality affordable local food from the Southern region. The market has a bakery with a wide selection of baked goods; a deli and cheese department with a great selection of cheeses and meats, some of which are made on-site; and the produce department has a beautiful variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Dryades Public Market also has a popular bar on site, called Bar 38, named for McDonogh 38, the school that previously occupied the market’s location.
