Get ready for the 31st annual Tennessee Williams Literary Festival to be held on March 22-26, 2017! The festival showcases the talents of writers, actors, musicians and other artists. This year 130 authors, actors and musicians will be on hand for the 5-day festival as speakers, master class instructors and contestants in poetry, fiction and drama. The festival includes a talk on New Orleans Storyville District, a writing marathon and a series of master classes which are held at The Historic New Orleans Collection at 533 Royal Street. On Friday, March 23, the Tennessee Williams Scholars Conference takes place, in which scholars discuss different aspects of Williams’ art. The last day of the festival features the famous “Stellaaaa!!!” Shouting Contest.
