The Original Girlfriend Getaway Weekend In New Orleans

Come join in a fun weekend to celebrate women. Festigals is sponsoring The Original Girlfriend Getaway Weekend. This should be lots of fun and all for a good cause. The weekend begins with the New Orleans Women’s Conference on Friday, July 29 from 9:15 AM – 6:00 PM at the Marriott. The keynote speaker is Carla Harris presented by Morgan Stanley and will include sessions relevant to women in the New Orleans area. The following day July 30 Bodacious Bras for a Cause brunch will be held from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM at the Marriott. Later that evening the Stiletto Stroll Second Line Parade completes the weekend with a large second line parade that goes from 6:00 PM till 10:30 PM. The parade begins at Harrah’s, then goes to the Warehouse District and ends at Mardi Gras World. Tickets are required for each event and proceeds will be used to support various women’s causes.
