Enjoy NOLA Oyster Festival In June

If you love oysters, don’t miss the annual New Orleans Oyster Festival to be held in Woldenberg Park on June 2-3, 2018! Admission is free and the Festival is fantastic with fabulous New Orleans food, live music, arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations and competitions. You can expect food vendors, such as Acme Oyster House, Oceana Restaurant, Drago’s Seafood Restaurant and many others. In addition, there will be live music throughout the two days of the Festival and various arts and crafts. During your visit, be sure to check out the World Oyster Eating Championship, sponsored by Acme Oyster House and the P & J Oyster Shucking Contest. There will be lots of fun for the whole family! Portions of the Festival’s proceeds benefit organizations that work to rebuild coastal land and enlarge habitats for fisheries.
