Northshore Halloween Event Schedule

October is always a busy month with beautiful weather, football, festivals, & events every weekend. Below is a list of a few Halloween festivals & special events coming to the Northshore in the next few weeks that are family friendly and are always a great time. Hope to see you there!

October 17th

Monster Mash: Held by the St. Tammany Hospital Parenting Center & presented by Capital One. The Monster Mash will be from 10am-3pm at the Bogue Falaya Park in Covington. Wear your costumes! Children's tickets are $15 in advance/$20 at the gate. Adults are $5 in advance/$10 at the gate. There will be children's activities such as a bounce house, face painting, trick or treat village, games plus much more! There will also be entertainment, food, & local vendors. October 24th:

Boo Fest: Located at Lakeview Regional Hospital in Covington from 10am-3pm. Tickets are $2. Trick or treat at over 60 haunted houses at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. The event benefits children with disabilities but is open to all children and their families. All proceeds raised from admission & sponsorship fees will assist families of children with disabilities with purchasing home or van modifications, assistive devices, or medical equipment that has been denied by health insurance and/or Medicaid. There will be face painting, pumpkin decorating, music, food, games & much more. Costumes encouraged! Northshore Area Board of Realtors (NABOR) will be also be doing their annual chili challenge at the event. 

Trickin' or Treatin' at the Trailhead: Located at the Covington Trailhead from 10am-noon children of all ages are invited to this event. There will be a pumpkin carving contest (bring carved pumpkin ahead of time). There will a prize for the most creative pumpkin. There will also be booths set up by local organizations around the trailhead to trick or treat & receive candy. Wear costumes! It is also encouraged to bring a canned or boxed food item to help support the local Covington Food Bank.

October 31st:

Trick or Treat Storytime: Located at the Covington Library from 1:30-2:30pm. Wear costumes. There will be story time with Halloween stories & trick or treating in the library. There will also be candy. 

St. Timothy UMC Fall Festival: From 3-5pm at St. Timothy UMC in Mandeville. There will be a trunk or treat, games, petting zoo, hayride, & food. Costumes encouraged.

Abita Springs Annual Halloween Party: 5-9pm in Downtown Abita at the Town Hall. There will be trick or treating, music, games, & food.
