If you love good food and wine, don’t miss the 7th annual "A Taste of Covington" where you can enjoy a 5-day celebration of food, wine, music, and art. The event is presented by Gulf Coast Bank with various sponsors. The activities begin on Wednesday and Thursday, April 11 and 12 at 6:30 PM with cocktails followed by vintner 3- and 4-course meals at 7 PM from restaurants such as Bacobar, Delporto, Annadele, and others. Friday, April 13 is the Grand Tasting that takes place under 2 tents at Acquistapace’s warehouse where you can taste over 70 wines while listening to live music from 7-9 PM. The Fiesta del Vino is a fine wine tasting event at the St. Tammany Art House on Saturday, April 14 from 3-5 PM. Saturday evening is “Spring for Art”, a free event sponsored by the St. Tammany Art Association Spring for Art. The event finishes with the spectacular Sunday Jazz Brunch on April 15 at Annadele’s Plantation. There are 2 serving times, from 10:30 AM till 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM till 3:00 PM.
