Tulane University Celebrates The Bard At The New Orleans Shakespeare Festival

Check out the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival at Tulane University, where you can see professionally produced productions of primarily Shakespearean plays. Tulane University’s Shakespeare Festival was founded in 1993 by Tulane Faculty members and since that time, nearly all of Shakespeare’s 37 plays have been presented. In addition the plays, the Festival also presents theatrical readings.The Tempest is the next production, with one public performance on January 12, 2018. Considered by many experts to be one of Shakespeare’s best dramas, The Tempest involves themes such as revenge, love, and forgiveness.
