Northshore residents have been enjoying the St. Tammany Parish Fair for more than a hundred years. This year’s Fair takes place on October 4-7, 2017 and will feature a wide range of activities including lots of livestock, local church choirs singing on Gospel Music Night, a Mini Farm, quilt show, dancing competitions, pageants and much more. The Fair kicks off with a parade from downtown Covington to the fairgrounds.  You can expect about 3 dozen midway rides and specials on Dollar Nights when you get to ride for just $1 per ride. You’ll love the livestock shows that feature chickens, rabbits, dairy and beef cattle, swine, sheep, and goats. Don’t miss an exciting time at the rodeo with bull riding, roping, bareback riding and a calf scramble for the children. In addition, there will be delicious food and live music from the main stage. Come visit and help this Northshore tradition continue for years to come!  For fair information, visit www.sttammanyparishfair.info.
